Fall In vets hackathon recently brought together talented individuals from around the world, from Ukrainian guests, Ph.D. students, Machine Learning devs to full-stack engineers. It was an amazing event that brought tech enthusiasts from all over the world together to create solutions to real world problems and to support Ukrainians in a meaningful way. The hackathon, which took place in April in a network of Frames, had participants coding, attending workshops, participating in fun events, and networking, all in Frame. Teams were judged based on the quality of their presentations, as well as their ability to explain how their tech works and how it could add value to humanitarian organizations and moreover the general populace in Ukraine. The event was hosted by Fall In, a group that organizes events for veterans in the metaverse. "We want to tug on our spirit of service, skills and knowledge to help," said Jameel Matin, founder of Fall In. The hackathon also hosted prominent guest speakers like Olly and Valeo from Ukraine, Bryan Cantrill, and Brian Barry.
