Stereopsia LATAM 2021

Stereopsia – World Immersion Forum is a professional event dedicated to immersive technology, innovation and creation. Created in 2009 in Belgium, it held its first Latin American edition in Santiago, Chile on 18-22 October 2021 with the support of the Chilean economic development agency CORFO and the Walloon Export and Foreign Investment Agency AWEX. Stereopsia wanted a digital component of this event in the metaverse and turned to Frame to bring that vision to life. Stereopsia LATAM featured networking opportunities, XR demonstrations, an award competition, thematic panels and masterclasses led by Latin American XR experts. The event was hybrid, with all the conference taking place online, with virtual spaces provided by Frame to allow participants to interact online and 11 satellite locations in 9 different countries to offer networking and physical showcases to local XR communities. Stereopsia LATAM also hosted gated workshops in a private, members-only Frame called 'Masterclass'.
