Why does my microphone doesn't work?

Fix common microphone issues so others can hear you clearly

•Make sure your browser has permission to use your microphone. On Chrome or Edge, this is a little lock icon to the left of the URL in your address bar. This will show the permissions for your microphone or webcam.
•Once you confirm those permissions, make sure that the site is accessing the right microphone. Click the gear icon in the toolbar and then select AUDIO/VIDEO SETTINGS. In the pop-up, you can see which microphone the browser is using. Make sure it's the right one and after selecting it you may need to refresh.
•If neither of those work, make sure your mic is plugged in and turned on.
•Make sure you've turned your mic on in Frame by clicking on the mic icon at the far left of the toolbar. It will turn blue when activated.
•If you still aren't being heard by other people, please email support@framevr.io and we'll help you get to the bottom of it.
