š¢ Important update for our Frame community:
Ready Player Me Service Closure
Ready Player Me has announced they'll be closing their services on January 31, 2026. While this news comes on short notice, our priority is to make the transition as smooth as possible for our users.
What This Means for You
To prepare, we'll be disabling avatar editing and customization during the last week of January. If you'd like to make final changes to your Ready Player Me avatar, please do so before then. Your existing avatar will be saved in its current state and remain usable for now, though long-term support for these saved versions may change.
This also applies to AI NPCs using RPM avatars.
Our Commitment to You
We know your avatars are a big part of your identity in Frame, and we're committed to supporting you through this transition. Your virtual presence matters to us, and we're working to ensure you can continue expressing yourself in Frame.
Next Steps
- Before late January: Make any final customizations to your Ready Player Me avatar
- During the last week of January: Avatar editing will be disabled
- After January 31: Your saved avatar will remain usable in its current state
We'll continue to keep you updated as we navigate this transition and explore alternative solutions for avatar customization in Frame.
Thank you for being part of our creative and evolving community.
