FRAME and the iLRN Conference: Immersive Poster Sessions

We partnered with the iLRN Conference to host immersive poster sessions. Poster sessions about VR - in VR!

The Challenge

Traditional virtual conferences struggle to replicate the poster session experience - that serendipitous wandering and discovery that happens at in-person events.

Our Solution

We created Frame spaces for the iLRN Conference poster sessions:

• Each poster displayed in a 3D environment
• Presenters could stand by their posters
• Attendees could walk around and explore
• Natural conversations formed around shared interests

The Results

Attendees reported feeling more engaged than in traditional virtual poster sessions. The spatial element brought back some of the magic of in-person events.

Meta Indeed

There's something delightfully meta about presenting VR research in VR. It demonstrates the very technology being discussed.
